Postpartum Planning

These stand-alone sessions are 1 hour 20 minutes, and provide education and a roadmap about the postpartum period, and how to prepare for this adjustment. Client may come alone or with their partner (partners are encouraged to join!), and will leave the session with a concrete plan and resources to have the best adjustment possible.

Topics covered include: managing visitors, optimizing rest and sleep, food and hydration, infant feeding decisions, accessing support, self-care, parenting roles, romantic relationship changes, and preventing and assessing for mental health concerns. Clients leave with a concrete plan, and thought prompts to continue preparing after the session.

Parenting Support

These are 50 minute sessions with a parenting expert on the team to help you through a specific parenting challenge. Our parenting specialists help you problem solve specific issues in these stand-alone sessions, such as: tantrums or difficult behaviour, getting on the same page as your partner, or navigating big emotions at home.

The focus is on examining patterns, breaking cycles, and showing up as the parent you want to be. These sessions are focused, structured, and leave you with a plan, tools, and resources to approach your challenge in a concrete and hopeful way.

"What if I need help with all of it? What session is right?"

It's really common to need support in all of these areas, you're not alone! If you feel unsure about what kind of session to book, we recommend starting with an individual session and your therapist can help you go from there.
